Reminder - Christchurch ASEAN Cultural Night

As previously annouced to the CIS member (email 2 April 2010) Alex Lee, the President of the Singapore Club has confirmed that an “Asian Performance Night” is to be held.

CIS members will be performing in three items on the night:

• “Kembang Bandung” dance
• “Part of Your World” song from the Disney production “Little Mermaid”, and
• Butet” song

The details are as follows:

Event: SCC 2010 Singapore-ASEAN- Asians Potluck & Cultural Night

Date of Event: 1 May 2010

Time: 5:30pm to 10:00pm

Venue: Middleton Grange School Hall

Please find a map attached showing the location of the Hall.  The easiest access is off Acacia Ave and down the foot path straight to the hall

Come along and enjoy the entertainment and support our members. CIS executive committee has arranged to prepare and bring ‘nasi goreng’ to the event, so you don’t need to bring anything unless you wish to.

We have FREE tickets for the event.  Every ticket goes in for a Door Prize. Many of you have confirmed your attendance and tickets have been reserved for you.  For those who have not done it yet, please contact Ani (SMS 022 6196922) to reserve a ticket.
